NTA (National Testing Agency) is an independent testing organization established by the Ministry of Education.

CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a standardized entrance exam for UG admissions to Central and participating universities.

To provide a uniform admission process for UG programs at Central and other participating universities.

  • Conducts the exam, releases admit cards, answer keys, and results.
  • Does not handle admissions or reservations—universities manage that independently.
  • Check university admission criteria before selecting subjects in CUET.
  • Fill out the application form accurately.
  • General Test is now renamed as the General Aptitude Test.
  • Some domain-specific subjects discontinued: ‘Entrepreneurship,’ ‘Teaching Aptitude,’ ‘Fashion Studies,’ etc.
  • Conducted Online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • MCQ-based exam.
  • Conducted in a single slot per subject.
  • Each test paper is 60 minutes long.

  1. Class 12th marks(Best of 3, 4, or 5).
  2. Age(Older candidate gets priority).

Questions Related to Exam Subjects and Flexibility

  • A candidate can appear for up to five subjects.
  • ‘Entrepreneurship,’ ‘Teaching Aptitude,’ ‘Fashion Studies,’ ‘Tourism,’ ‘Legal Studies,’ and ‘Engineering Graphics.’
  • Candidates can choose up to five subjects from three sections.
  • Conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
  • The syllabus aligns with Class 12 NCERT curriculumfor respective subjects.
  • Tests language proficiency, subject knowledge, and reasoning ability.
